The Georgia Children’s Book Awards and Conference on Children’s Literature, based in the College of Education, has launched a new website with information about the group, its featured books and more. GCBA is an organization committed to rewarding, recognizing and promoting excellence in children’s literature. The Georgia Children’s Book Award was established in 1968 by Sheldon Root, a professor in the department of language education.
