The University Health Center is offering a free cholesterol screening for faculty and staff on Feb. 24, 8 a.m.-noon. This screening is by appointment and is limited to the first 100 people.
This total cholesterol-screening test is performed from a finger stick with results in three minutes. It does not give a breakdown of HDL and LDL cholesterol. To make an appointment, call the health promotion department (542-8690).
