Committee without experience?

Political science professor Loch Johnson was quoted in Associated Press coverage of the naming of the presidential committee that will evaluate U.S. intelligence leading up to the war in Iraq. Johnson, an expert on CIA matters, was disappointed in the membership. “Where are the people who know about intelligence but have no axes to grind or institutional biases to reflect?” he asked. “I don’t see those people there.” The story appeared in Chicago, Tampa, New York and elsewhere.
