Criminal justice conference

Faculty, students and practitioners are invited to attend a special conference to explore the effects of the prison pipeline on Georgia’s children. “The Intersection of Childhood and the Criminal Justice System” will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 13 in the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel.

The conference is sponsored by the university’s Child and Family Policy Initiative, which seeks to bridge research with effective practice to inform public policy.
