Nominations are being accepted until Oct. 30 for the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award.
The award highlights the work of local community members and UGA faculty, staff and students who have made significant contributions to social justice, race relations, justice or human rights.
Award recipients will be recognized at the annual MLK Freedom Breakfast, which will be held Jan. 22 at UGA. The breakfast, sponsored by UGA, the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government and the Clarke County School District, commemorates Martin Luther King’s life and legacy. Tickets for the breakfast are available through Nov. 20 on the Office of Institutional Diversity website at diversity.uga.edu or by contacting the office at 706-583-8195.
