The Office of Emergency Preparedness offers training and other resources for employees who want to develop plans for responding to an emergency in their building, classroom or office.
OEP staff offers classes on “Conflict De-escalation,” “Planning for Emergencies in the Classroom” and “Plan, Prepare, React: Active Shooter Response Options.”
In addition, OEP has the following resources online: a business continuity plan generator, a building emergency action plan generator and an emergency preparedness module.
Information about automatic external defibrillators and evacuation chairs for people with disabilities also is available.
