Emerging Leader Academy

The University of Georgia Terry College of Business, in partnership with several strategic partners, is proud to introduce the new Emerging Leader Academy. This new program offers in-depth training on the hottest topics in leadership today. The program is supported by an innovative framework that includes assessments, one-on-one coaching, and completion of a real-life CAPstoneTM project. Individuals who wish to accelerate their growth and leadership potential will benefit most from this certificate program.

The six-day, two-course executive program is the product of a strategic partnership between renowned business executives and Terry College professors and researchers.

“This program addresses the critical transition from transaction leadership to transformational leadership that is needed for a competitive advantage,” said Robert T. Sumichrast, dean of the Terry College. “We have had significant requests for leadership development programs, and we understand the importance of developing emerging leaders for roles of greater strategic value that will benefit their organizations.”

The Emerging Leader Academy offers in-depth training that includes behavioral and leadership assessments, three months of one-on-one coaching and the completion of a CAPstoneTM Project within two learning modules:

 

Module One: September 21-23, 2010

Module Two: October 20-22, 2010

  • Building Strategic Relationships
  • Strategy Execution
  • Strategic Innovation

 

Program instructors include award-winning professors, researchers and business experts with experience training emerging leaders from Fortune 100 corporations, the U.S. military and the FBI.
