The University of Georgia is committed to the professional and career development of staff. With the support of UGA President Jere W. Morehead, the Engage & Learn Grant Program was established as part of the Engage & Learn initiative. Engage & Learn creates professional development opportunities for staff to grow, develop and share ideas to fuel innovation at the University of Georgia.
The Engage & Learn Grant Program will award a minimum of 10 internal grants each year for staff professional development. Applications for the inaugural program are currently being accepted through Aug. 31. Amounts up to $1,000 per individual or $2,000 per group (two or more) will be awarded for professional development costs related to the applicant’s job and/or career goals. Awards will be granted by the end of September.
