Ethics compliance training

The board of regents is requiring faculty, staff, temporary employees and student employees to complete either a basic or refresher ethics training module for the revised USG Ethics Policy by Feb. 29.

Employees hired on or after Jan. 1 are required to complete the basic ethics training module (unless they already have completed the basic ethics module) and must read the new NDAH policy and indicate their understanding of the tenets of the policy.

Employees hired prior to Jan. 1 are required to complete the refresher ethics training module and must read the new NDAH policy and indicate their understanding of the tenets of the policy.

The modules are available off of the Human Resources home page (www.hr.uga.edu), by selecting “BOR Ethics Training” link near the bottom left corner of the page. Faculty, staff and student employees who have questions about their participation can receive assistance from the ethics training liaisons in their units. To view a list of ethics training liaisons, visit www.hr.uga.edu/ethics_contacts.pdf.
