Applications are due by Feb. 19 for summer 2004 UGA faculty research grants for travel to Erlangen, Germany. The grant of up to $7,000 provides funds for travel, food and lodging, and other research-related expenses.
Applications should include:
- a detailed statement of the research project and specific plans for carrying it out in Erlangen. The statement should place the project in the context of the applicant’s other research.
- budget, including travel and lodging.
- complete curriculum vitae.
- a brief recommendation from the department or unit head.
The application should be sent to Marjanne E. Goozé, German Exchange Committee, Germanic and Slavic languages, 201 Joe Brown Hall.
The German Exchange Committee will notify applicants of decisions by March 1.
