Mary M. Atwater, professor in the department of mathematics and science education, was named an inaugural Fellow of the American Educational Research Association in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments in education research. She will be inducted into the inaugural class of AERA Fellows at the association’s annual meeting in San Diego in April.
