Claude Felton, associate athletic director, received the 2008 Bert McGrane Award from the Football Writers Association of America. The McGrane Award is given to a member of the media who has made a significant contribution to the coverage of college football. Felton, a member of the College Sports Information Director’s Hall of Fame, has been sports information director at UGA since 1979.
