Five UGA employees retired Feb. 1. Retirees, their job classification, department and years of service are:
- Dana Froetschel, lead nurse, Medical Clinic Gold, Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, University Health Center, 12 years;
- Takoi Hamrita, professor, College of Engineering, School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, 28 years, 11 months;
- Susan A. Mattox, administrative specialist I, Mary Frances Early College of Education, counseling and human development services department, 10 years;
- Dana Savidge, associate professor, Office of the Vice President for Research, Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, 20 years, 4 months; and
- Jeff T. Whelchel, principal network administrator, Enterprise Information Technology Services, telephone services, 28 years, 2 months.
