The department of foods and nutrition is seeking research participants for a study to determine whether body weight affects folate intake requirements. Healthy, non-pregnant Caucasian females aged 18 to 35 may be eligible for the study.
Participants will undergo body composition and bone density analysis, complete a dietary intake questionnaire and provide blood samples over the course of 11 hours. Participants can earn up to $100 for their time. The study is being conducted by Lynn Bailey’s Folate Research Lab.
