The University of Georgia Foundation has recently launched an online Policies and Procedures site, clarifying rules for fund raising and gift reporting and other support activities. On the basic www.alumni.uga.edu page, scroll down to select the Foundation link.
Under Fund Raising, the reader can find the differences among development activities in the various organizational units: annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, gift planning, major gifts, and college and constituent fund-raising programs.
Administration of Foundation funds and access to donor information is explained, as are policies for using and requesting unrestricted funds.
