Fourteen UGA employees retired June 1. Retirees, their job classification, department and years of service are:

  • Martha Allexsaht-Snider, associate professor, Mary Frances Early College of Education, educational theory and practice department, 29 years, 10 months;
  • Eddie Cooper, building services worker II, University Health Center, facilities maintenance, 10 years;
  • Charlotte D. Lassiter, Gilmer County secretary, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Northeast District County Extension Services, 11 years;
  • David C. Lee, vice president for research, 15 years, 9 months;
  • Frank Michel, laboratory manager II, College of Veterinary Medicine, biosciences and diagnostic imaging, 17 years, 7 months;
  • Sergio Quesada, senior academic professional, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, anthropology department, 14 years, 10 months;
  • Margaret Quesada, professor, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, Romance languages department, 15 years, 10 months;
