The Georgia Center for Continuing Education will hold a sign-up day for the Summer Academy at UGA on April 9, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., in room 191 of the Georgia Center. SAUGA educational camps are designed for children ages 10 to 14. Parents and guardians registering their children at sign-up day will receive a 10 percent discount.
A variety of SAUGA camps are scheduled through June and July. Camp themes include comic-book creation, video production, golf, computers, college preparedness, and singing-songwriting. Most camps last one week, but a special two-week “Kaleidoscope Camp” offers an array of activities, including photography, self-defense, plant pathology, scuba diving and more.
