The 2007 orientation for graduate teaching assistants and laboratory assistants will be held from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in room 101 of the Student Learning Center.
All new graduate teaching and laboratory assistants who will have instructional responsibilities during 2007–2008 are required to attend. They will learn appropriate methods for teaching undergraduates and about instructional support systems available at the university. Returning GTAs and GLAs are encouraged to attend sessions of interest to them.
