Grady students selected for API seminars

Seven students in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication have been selected to participate in seminars held for newspaper professionals at the American Press Institute in Reston, Va.

The students are Todd Zeigler, a junior from Snellville; Josh Brown, a senior from Jackson; Rachel Votta, a senior from Athens; Clint Bowen, a senior from Elberton; Katie Reetz, a senior from Atlanta; Cassandra Belter, a senior from Athens; and Glen Orman, a sophomore from Marietta.

Student participation in the API seminars is funded by the Cox Institute for Newspaper Management Studies, directed by journalism professor Conrad Fink, who says, “The Grady College is the only university invited to send students to API seminars, and we are delighted that the James M. Cox Jr. Foundation underwrites this extremely important educational effort.”
