Former New Jersey medical student pleads guilty to stealing a hand

A doctor in California pleaded guilty to charges that he stole a hand from a cadaver while he was in medical school in 2002, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.

The doctor was charged in 2002 while he was attending the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After pleading guilty to a reduced charge, the doctor will no longer be able to obtain a medical license in New Jersey during a probationary period.
