Relay for Life invites UGA faculty and staff to work with a student team as an honorary member to help support the American Cancer Society.
According to organizers, UGA had the most successful college Relay for Life in the country last year. This year, Relay for Life organizers encourage participation from faculty and staff to raise money for the American Cancer Society, which aims to eradicate cancer through education, advocacy, research and service.
To become a Relay for Life faculty/staff representative, e-mail Grant Hanna (grant5@uga.edu). The relay itself is scheduled for April 28; faculty and staff will be admitted at the entrance with identification.
