Krista Richmond will serve as interim editor of Columns, effective May 1. She succeeds Juliett Dinkins, who will retire as editor of Columns on April 30.
Richmond has 17 years of professional experience in communications. Her bachelor’s and master’s degrees are both in journalism, and she spent nine years working at newspapers in Tennessee and Louisiana as a features editor. She also spent four years working in digital marketing at a United Way in Louisiana. She joined the Columns staff in August 2016 and has been associate editor since July 2019.
