International Conference speaker recognized

David Landau

David P. Landau, Distinguished Research Professor and director of the Center for Simulational Physics, presented an invited talk at the 34th Conference of the Middle European Conference in Statistical Physics MECO34 in Leipzig, Germany, in March.

The title of his presentation was “Monte Carlo Simulations of Systems with Complex Free Energy Landscapes.” The research that he described involved a collaboration between the Center for Simulational Physics and the Institute of Bioinformatics at UGA. He also presented an invited lecture on related topics at the Graduate School Interdisciplinary Scientific Symposium on Building with Molecules and Nano-objects BuildMoNa at the University of Leipzig.
