July 2020 Foundation funding opportunities

The Foundation Relations team provides UGA faculty and staff with foundation funding opportunities at dar.uga.edu/foundation-relations. There, people can find out how to apply for these funding opportunities and how Foundation Relations can help.

Current opportunities include:

Equality Can’t Wait Challenge: This challenge is seeking ideas that work in one or more key areas to expand women’s power and influence, including dismantling the barriers that hold women back in their careers and at home, fast-tracking women in critical sectors by creating entry points and advancement opportunities, and calling society to action on gender equality.

Russell Sage Foundation: RSF is accepting LOI relevant to one of RSF’s core programs, and which address at least one of the following issues: Research on the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting recession in the U.S., as well as research focused on the systemic racial inequality and/or the recent mass protests in the U.S.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: The goal of this RWJF funding opportunity is to translate and adapt knowledge from around the world to the United States on approaches that can improve health or the determinants of health by improving gender equity.
