Karl Espelie, a professor of entomology, has been selected to receive the Outstanding Advising Certificate of Merit from the National Academic Advising Association. He is one of 14 people in the nation being honored in the faculty academic advising category of the association’s national awards program. The category recognizes faculty members whose primary job is teaching but who spend part of their time providing academic assistance to students.
The National Academic Advising Association has presented awards since 1983 to people and institutions for significant contributions to the improvement of academic advising.
