Learning in Retirement Inc., at the University of Georgia will hold a fall welcome event for new and prospective members Sept. 8 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Athens Holiday Inn Express, 513 West Broad St.
During the meeting, participants may register from among 37 courses, four Lunch and Learn lectures, two travel/study trips and five social events. They also can learn about other LIR activities. Refreshments will be served.
