Lilly Fellow applications

The Center for Teaching and Learning is now accepting applications for the 2010-2012 Lilly Teaching Fellows Program.

The application deadline is March 1, and applications should be made online at www.ctl.uga.edu/faculty/fac_dev_programs/lilly/lilly.htm.

The program is open to tenure-track faculty in their first, second or third year of appointment at UGA. The fellowship is designed for faculty members without significant teaching experience at the college or university level prior to joining UGA. However, this does not include experience as a graduate teaching assistant.

The program provides opportunities for Fellows to further develop skills associated with effective teaching; provides opportunities for the Fellows to further develop their ability to appropriately balance teaching, research and service; and gives the Fellows information about the instructional policies, resources and services at UGA.

Questions about the Lilly Teaching Fellows Program can be directed to program director Jean Martin-Williams at jfmartin@uga.edu.
