The new monthly book club “The Rest of the Story” will meet March 24 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Libraries.
The selection for March is Women’s History Month, Revolutionizing Expectations: Women’s Organizations, Feminism and American Politics, 1965-1980 by Melissa Estes Blair.
The book touches on women activists in the late 1960s, which also ties into the National School Lunch exhibit in the gallery of the Russell Library for Political Research and Studies.
Open free to the public, the book club is co-sponsored by the UGA Libraries and the University of Georgia Press. Light refreshments will be served.
