Michael Marshall, an associate professor of photography in the Lamar Dodd School of Art, chaired the 2011 national conference of the Society for Photographic Education, a nonprofit membership organization that provides a forum for the discussion of photography and related media as a means of creative expression and cultural insight.
The 2011 conference, which took place in Atlanta from March 10-13, was entitled “Science, Poetry and the Photographic Image.”
