Media Advisory: More than 800 graduate students expected at orientation and InfoFair

Athens, Ga. – University of Georgia Graduate School officials expect more than 800 incoming students at the Graduate School Orientation and InfoFair Thursday, Aug. 14, from 9 to 11:15 a.m. at the Athens Classic Center. Students can learn essential information for success in graduate school and meet representatives from UGA and community services. Following the orientation, Athens Transit will provide short bus tours of downtown and campus. The Graduate Student Association and Graduate and Professional Scholars will hold welcome receptions later in the day.
