The Georgia Museum of Art will close its gallery spaces to the public from Nov. 3 until early 2011 for extensive expansion and remodeling. The rest of the museum will remain open through the end of 2008 for rentals, educational events and shopping, and the museum will continue to organize events and exhibitions off-site during the closure.
