Nineteen UGA employees retired July 1. Retirees, their job classification, department and years of service are:

  • Jack Bauerle, head coach, Athletics, swimming and diving, 43 years;
  • Diane Bowman, administrative manager I, Office of the Vice President for Research, Center for Family Research, 21 years, 2 months;
  • Corrie Brown, part-time professor, College of Veterinary Medicine, pathology department, 26 years, 6 months;
  • Julianne Butler, business affairs manager, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, business office, 20 years, 1 month;
