Ohio State receives $100 million gift

The chairman of Ohio State University’s board of trustees and his foundation recently donated $100 million to bolster the institution’s medical and arts missions, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.

Leslie Wexner and Limited Brands Foundation gave the gift, the largest in the university’s history, to benefit the institution’s medical center, its Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and the Richard J. Solove Research Institute. It also will benefit Ohio State’s Wexner Center for the Arts and select other university initiatives, the Chronicle reported.
