Position announcement

A search is under way for a new assistant vice president for academic affairs at UGA’s Gwinnett Campus, succeeding Jan Sandor, who retires Dec. 31. A search committee will be appointed by Robert Boehmer, associate provost for institutional effectiveness and extended campuses.

The Gwinnett Campus offers graduate degree and professional development programs at a new location in Lawrenceville. The responsibilities of this position include oversight of day-to-day operations at the campus, oversight of the academic affairs unit and support-service areas, and coordination with UGA colleges and schools in the development of new graduate degree programs to be offered in Gwinnett, as well as additional non-credit courses to be offered by the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.
