Preparedness forum to focus on travel hazards beyond America’s borders

“International Travel: Hazards and Realities,” part of the university’s Academic-Professional Security Series, will be held Feb. 23 from 9-11 a.m. in Room 137 of the Tate Student Center.

Hosted by the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness, the Center for International Trade and Security and the Office of International Education, the forum is open free to the public with no advance registration required.

Speakers include Jon Watson, a special agent with the FBI; William Ricketts, an agent with the Department of Homeland Security; and Dr. T. Demetri Vacalis, an epidemiologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
