Research travel grants

The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies has received a Tinker Foundation field research grant to provide travel funds for graduate students carrying out pre-thesis or pre-dissertation research in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking Latin America and the Caribbean during summer 2004. The Graduate School provides additional funds for this program.

This is the third year in a row CLACS has received a Tinker field research grant. In 2003, 16 students from eight UGA departments received travel awards to carry out summer research in 12 Latin American or Caribbean countries.
