Roger B. Winston Jr., Lifetime Achievement Award

Roger B. Winston Jr., professor emeritus in the College of Education, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American College Personnel Association.

The award recognizes Winston’s high level of scholarly productivity and leadership sustained for more than 20 years in the field of student affairs. His work, which has appeared in most of the journals and publications associated with the field, has shaped and defined the student affairs field into a strong, theory- and research-based profession.

He has authored or edited 13 books on student affairs and written more than 100 book chapters and journal articles.
