In an article published in USA Today, David Bridges, assistant dean of UGA’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Design, is quoted about UGA’s 2005 “Unwired” conference and the technological revolution facing agriculture.
“Wireless technology is not the technology of the future, it is the technology of the present,” he says. “If we don’t bridge technology to rural areas, they won’t advance.”
