Tate Student Center Theater announces first half of fall movie schedule

Athens, Ga. – The University Union Student Programming Board at the University of Georgia has announced the movie schedule for the Tate Student Center Theater through Sept. 29.

Dates, titles and times are as follows:

Thursday, Aug. 22, “South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut” (1999), 8 p.m.
Friday-Sunday, Aug. 23-25, “Hangover 3” (2013), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 29, “The Great Gatsby” (2013), 8 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 30, “The Great Gatsby” (2012), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 5, “Dr. No” (1962), 8 p.m.
Friday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 8, “Star Trek Into Darkness” (2013), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 12, “Klute” (1971), 8 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 13, “Nashville” (1975), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 14, “Basquiat” (1996), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 15, “Once Upon a Time in the West” (1969), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 19, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” (1988), 8 p.m.

Admission is $2, or $1 for students with valid UGACards who pay activity fees on the Athens campus.

Films are chosen by students who serve on the executive board of the cinematic arts division of University Union.

The remainder of the fall schedule will be announced in late September.
