Seven higher education groups bid to build technology campus in NYC

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced that seven university groups have placed bids to build a new applied sciences campus in the city, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported. The groups include Amity University, in India, a group of institutions that include the New York Genome Center as well as the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Rockefeller University and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The winner(s) will be announced in January.
