Technology planning sessions

UGA’s Office of the Chief information Officer and Enterprise Information Technology Services will hold discussion sessions beginning Sept. 5 to plan for the university’s future in information technology.

UGA faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend the Information Technology Compact Planning sessions, which will include discussions on wireless networking, classroom technology and course management systems, computer security, high-performance computing and technology to support outreach across the state and beyond.

Compact Planning is a customer-driven process providing an opportunity to identify high-priority initiatives that are negotiated and result in an agreement, or compact, between service providers and consumers of service.

A complete list of the meeting dates and times is available online (http://eits.uga.edu/cio.php?l=2&c=compact).
