Thirteen UGA employees retired April 1. Retirees, their job classification, department and years of service are:

  • Laura M. Ackerley, graduate program administrator, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, mathematics department, 14 years, 8 months;
  • Karen Braxley, academic professional, Division of Academic Enhancement, 16 years, 1 month;
  • Levon Calloway, business manager III, Office of the Vice President for Research, Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, 10 years, 6 months;
  • Patricia S. Cook, administrative specialist I, Office of the Vice President for Research, biosafety, 16 years, 8 months;
  • Tanya C. Eidson, assistant director of annual giving and donor relations, College of Veterinary Medicine, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, 28 years, 10 months;
  • Teri L. Gunter, security guard, Georgia Museum of Art, 14 years, 8 months;
