Thomas C. Reeves, named 2011 Education Fellow

Thomas C. Reeves, education professor emeritus, was named the 2011 Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education Fellow during the group’s annual conference in Sydney.

Reeves was the first American selected as an ASCILITE Fellow. He was chosen in recognition of his contributions to the field in professional mentoring and research.

In addition, a paper Reeves co-wrote, “Publishing and Perishing: The Critical Importance of Educational Design Research,” was named one of the five outstanding papers for 2010 by the ASCILITE.
