Tiffany Cochran Edwards to give Freedom Breakfast keynote

Tiffany Cochran Edwards

Tiffany Cochran Edwards, national brand manager and public relations manager for The Cochran Firm, will give the keynote address at the University of Georgia’s 16th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Breakfast. The event will be held Jan. 18 at 8 a.m. in the Grand Hall of the Tate Student Center.

Edwards spent 17 years as a news anchor, 10 of those in the Atlanta area, before she transitioned to public relations. In addition to leading PR efforts at The Cochran Firm, her work supports the Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. Brain Tumor Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The center is named for her late father, the legendary attorney who passed from a brain tumor in 2005. Edwards has dedicated her life to continuing her father’s legacy both in law and in philanthropic endeavors. Edwards lives in Atlanta with her husband and daughter.

The Freedom Breakfast honors the legacy of the late civil rights leader and recognizes community members dedicated to contributing to race relations, justice and human rights with the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award.

Tickets are $25 each or $200 for a table of eight, and are on sale online. Tickets will not be sold the day of the event. Those interested in purchasing a table should email Sonya Sinkfield-Dixon at diverse@uga.edu.
