UGA Alumni Association accepting nominations for the 2014 40 Under 40

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the 2014 40 Under 40 recognition program, which recognizes UGA alumni under the age of 40 who area leaders in business, research, artistic, community, educational and/or philanthropic endeavors.

The nomination process is open through April 11. Candidates must be UGA graduates, under the age of 40 by Sept. 1, and willing to submit a photo that may be published in various UGA publications and media. Nominations must be submitted by someone other than the nominee, preferably by fellow alumni, employers or community leaders who are not members of the nominee’s immediate family.

Nominations may be submitted online at www.alumni.uga.edu/40u40. Emailed or mailed nominations will not be considered.

The 2014 40 Under 40 honorees will be notified in July and then recognized during the 2014 Awards Luncheon at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta on Sept. 18.
