The University of Georgia Mentor Program is celebrating Mentor Month. Mentor Month is observed nationally during the month of January and is highlighted by a number of key events.
This year’s UGA Mentor Month events are “I am a UGA Mentor Day” on Jan. 6; “International Day of Mentoring” and “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service,” both on Jan. 17; and “I am a UGA Mentee Day” on Jan. 25.
The UGA Mentor Program first opened to faculty and staff last fall. Currently, 359 UGA faculty and staff are registered as mentors with the program and more are welcome. Visit mentor.uga.edu to learn more.
