Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Alumni Association and the UGA Athletic Association have teamed up to bring UGA Day to the Golden Isles of Brunswick, St. Simons and Jekyll Island on May 15 at the Morgan Center of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.
UGA Day will get underway at 6 p.m., when guests may take photographs and obtain autographs of university officials on hand. The program will follow at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
Host Chuck Dowdle, Head Football Coach Mark Richt and Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox will be on hand to share their insights into UGA’s upcoming athletic seasons, and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Jere Morehead will bring the latest news from the university. Attendees will learn about the Golden Isles Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association and how to become involved.
