UGA delays Saturday opening until noon

Due to the continuing threat of inclement weather, the University of Georgia Athens campus closed at 2:30 p.m. Friday and will delay opening of units that operate on Saturdays — such as the University Libraries and the Miller Learning Center — until noon on Saturday, January 23. 

Campus Transit
Campus Transit buses have ceased operations as of 3:30 p.m. Because of the threat of inclement weather and in the interest of safety, Campus Transit will not run buses on Saturday, January 23.  It is expected transit operations will continue to operate as normal on Sunday, January 24, starting at noon. 

Dining Commons
The dining commons will close as normal today with the exception of the Niche.

 — Snelling closed at 2:30 p.m.

— Bolton, OHouse and Summit close at 8 p.m.

— The Niche will remain open until 6 p.m.

On Saturday, the dining commons will open as normal. Bolton and the Summit will open at 8:30 a.m. and OHouse, Snelling and the Niche will be closed.
