UGA Fall Class Ring Days to be Oct. 16-19

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Alumni Association will sponsor Fall Class Ring Days Oct. 16-19. Students with 60 plus credit hours will be eligible to purchase their UGA class rings during this time.

The Student Alumni Association, the group that oversees the class ring program, will have information booths set up each day from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the UGA Bookstore and Miller Learning Center. The booth in the Miller Learning Center will be in the second floor rotunda Oct. 16-18 and across from Jittery Joe’s Oct. 19. Students will be able to speak with a representative in person about payment plans, sizing and style at these information booths.

Students who purchase class rings will be able to participate in the UGA Alumni Association sponsored ring ceremony in April 2013. The ceremony offers a more intimate setting for family and friends to see their student recognized.

“Fall ring days is the start of countdown to graduation,” Evan Tighe, assistant director of student programs in UGA’s Alumni Office. “We encourage all eligible students to become a part of this heralded university tradition.”
