UGA kicks off the fall 2026 semester with Welcome Week events
The University of Georgia’s classrooms, dining halls, sidewalks and residence halls filled with new and returning students for the first week of the fall semester. With the Class of 2030, the university welcomed more than 6,250 incoming first-year students. From move-in and Freshman Welcome to First Night and the College Poster Sale, it’s been a busy and exciting start to the year.
